What is the core belief behind agileflow?
The way we work is based on inherited thought patterns that won’t make us happy. We work for survival and increased social status.
Survival is about fighting and fighting should not be our default state. It will keep our body in tension and our brain in a mode of anxiety and stress. It makes us live under constant pressure and our brain is unnecessary on adrenalin. This way we create habits, that are unhealthy for us and others. We lose the ability to be happy, fulfilled and present in the moment.
Social status is about being better than others and that’s why we are all losers. There is always someone “better” than you. Or at the least someone that makes you feel that way. Just think of the mass of advertisements you see every day… all the happy, shiny people on the walls. They are better than you. At least your brain tells you this all the time. And so the belief of «You are not good enough» is subconsciously created. It becomes your reality. That’s why you are running for a carrot you’ll obviously never reach.
Take a deep breath right now and grant yourself a break from all this for a moment.
On the way, we lost who we really are. Knowledge, things and possessions should help us to fill this gap. This comes with a price. We strive for things that should solve a problem that what we created in the first place. It’s a never-ending circle and while being in it we lost sight of the bigger picture.
